Landscaping has become an increasingly important part of urban planning and open space development. It is also an integral part of all major commercial and municipal construction projects.
The focus is on the visually appealing design of outdoor facilities in close coordination with architectural ideas and building regulations. In addition, climate and environmental aspects also play an increasingly important role. There are many reasons for this – here is a brief overview.
Shade and cooling
Green spaces improve the local microclimate. Firstly, they contribute to milder temperatures in the surrounding area through evaporative cooling. Studies have also shown that green spaces and tree populations can effectively mitigate local heat islands.
Protection from bodies of water
Innovative green concepts are suitable for controlling rainwater. Cleverly planned infiltration areas, rain gardens and green roofs in landscaping projects mean that less water runs off the surface, which in turn relieves the burden on the sewer system.

We act as a project partner in municipal and commercial construction projects on one hand, and as a specialist in playground installation, sports ground construction and roof greening on the other. Consultation and pricing
In the early phase of the project, we offer support in planning and solving technical challenges. Early involvement in project planning provides security in terms of costs and deadlines. A detailed cost calculation is the basis for every successful project.
Implementation
Implementation includes clearly scheduled excavation work, the installation of irrigation and drainage systems and the professional planting of trees, shrubs and garden plants. We offer technical know-how and project experience for optimal cooperation with our clients. The quality of the workmanship determines the long-term success of the entire project.
Maintenance
Constant maintenance preserves the appearance and benefits of landscaped open spaces. This includes regular tasks such as tree pruning, watering, lawn mowing, removal of plant debris and the monitoring of plant diseases. In addition, adjustments and improvements to the landscape design are possible. Expert support secures the investment in landscaping.

Track lens at the Schöneweide depot
The Gleislinse project at the Schöneweide depot was realised by our member company Rüdiger Brandenburg Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau GmbH from 2018-2019. The project includes a cycle path along the tracks, an elliptical conversion of old track sections and small animal habitats made from dismantled concrete railway sleepers. Special consideration was given to species conservation in this project.
Neighbourhood design with playground areas, Bonn-Duisdorf
The “Pandion Ville” project comprises around 400 residential units on the former site of the Gallwitz barracks in Bonn-Duisdorf. Our group member Ringbeck Galabau created the spacious green areas for the first two construction phases, the design of the center of the district and a park. In addition, we have created natural play areas in the residential area, which increase the quality of life in the district through their landscaped appearance and functionality.
Gustav Heinemann Secondary School
The Gustav-Heinemann-Oberschule project was realised by our partner company Flöter und Uszkureit Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau GmbH. It covers an area of 18,000 square metres. The client was the Templhof-Schöneberg district authority and SINAI Landschaftsarchitekten acted as architects for the project.
